Race and philanthropy
May 6, 2008 (posted by Lord Baron)The Philanthropic Initiative for Racial Equity advisory board and staff has invited us to join in their First Critical Issues Forum: A Virtual Convening to Address Progressive Racial Justice Issues in Philanthropy.
These essays focus on critical issues around the AB 624 debate. AB 624 would require that foundations collect and disclose information on race, ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation for their organizations and grantees.
