If you are unable to make phone or in-person appointments during the day due to work, school, disability, or another similar reason, please call LSNC’s evening intake line any time at (866) 815-5990 to leave a message, and someone will return your call within one to two business days. A request for help with an open case must go through your local office during the day.
Housing, public benefits (SSI, CalWORKs, CalFresh, IHSS, SSDI, UIB, SDI, Veterans benefits), education rights (special education and school discipline), criminal record remedies, health (Medi-Cal, Medicare, Partnership, Covered California), and citation defense for people experiencing homelessness. We also offer limited assistance, through our clinics and pro bono partners, with family law (separation, custody, and support), consumer law (debt defense and bankruptcy), and general civil legal matters (torts).
